Get ready for more drama! Tell Me Lies Season 3 is officially set to premiere on January 13, 2026! Hulu and Disney+ (with the Hulu on Disney+ bundle in the U.S.) will be the exclusive homes for the first two episodes. International viewers can catch the series on Disney+ as well.
This season promises to dive even deeper into the tumultuous relationship between Lucy Albright (Grace Van Patten) and Stephen DeMarco (Jackson White). They're back together just in time for the spring semester at Baird College, but can they escape their past?
The synopsis teases that despite their promises for a fresh start, old mistakes will resurface, causing Lucy to get tangled up in a situation she wants no part of. Meanwhile, their friends will be forced to confront their own self-destructive behaviors, a direct consequence of the previous year's events.
But here's where it gets controversial... Secrets continue to simmer on campus, threatening to erupt with devastating consequences for Lucy and her friends. Season 2 left us on a cliffhanger, with Bree (Catherine Missal) and Evan (Branden Cook) on the verge of getting married. Just before they could say 'I do,' Stephen dropped a bombshell, revealing a recorded confession from Evan admitting to sleeping with Lucy!
Adding to the intrigue, new faces are joining the cast. Iris Apatow will play Amanda, a seemingly cheerful but vulnerable college freshman hiding a significant secret. Costa D’Angelo will portray Alex, a psychology grad student and part-time drug dealer with a complicated history with Bree.
Meaghan Oppenheimer is back as the executive producer and showrunner. Emma Roberts, Karah Preiss, Matt Matruski, Laura Lewis, Shannon Gibson, Stephanie Noonan, Sam Schalifer, and Tyne Rafaeli (who also directs) are also on board as executive producers. The series is based on Carola Lovering’s novel of the same name, with the author serving as a consulting producer. Tell Me Lies is a Hulu Original series produced by 20th Television.
The release date announcement includes first-look photos, including a rather suggestive image of a partially eaten wedding cake.
