The highly anticipated LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is set to release on May 29, 2026, according to the latest announcement at The Game Awards 2025. This open-world Gotham adventure, developed by TT Games, promises an immersive experience with a diverse cast of characters. Players will step into the shoes of Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, and Catwoman, facing off against iconic villains like Two-Face, Poison Ivy, Firefly, Mr. Freeze, The Joker, The Penguin, Ra’s al Ghul, and Bane. The game also offers the chance to drive the iconic Batmobile from the animated series and the Batpod from the movies. The announcement at Gamescom Opening Night Live in August hinted at an ambitious take on the caped crusader, featuring seven playable characters, including Batman and familiar allies like Jim Gordon, Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, Catwoman, and Talia al Ghul. The voice of Bane will be provided by the talented Matt Berry. The game is set to release on Nintendo Switch 2, PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
